I’ve been watching the Foo Fighters Sonic Highway show on HBO. It’s really good. I don’t know, I guess I have a thing for rockumentaries. In the series, the Foo Fighters go to different cities to record their new album, Sonic Highways. It showcases the historic music scenes for each of the cities they travel to and I just find it fascinating. This week there in Austin. Last week they were in Nashville. They’ve also done DC and Chicago. I thought DC was super interesting. They covered the Gogo music as well as the DC punk scene. Who knew DC had a punk scene?
