Finally a solution in the works for that garden bed I have been fighting the dogs for.

A Jack-in-the-pulpit I forgot about that re-emerged this spring in my pot of mint. It now sits in my kitchen herb garden (amongst the purple mustard and lemon balm).

The first tomatoe of the season. Just a patio tomatoe from my super bush.

A favorite find from the herb festival earlier this month–pitcher plants.

Love-in-the-mist (nigella) returns.
garden12.jpg
As does a lots of new white sage around my laurel bush–not too fragrant this year. A late cold snap got the blooms.

So far the 3rd of 6 poppy blooms.Tomatoe red and twice the size of my fist.

My yarrow is going crazy as well.

More greens (and weeds!)

A new bed along the driveway.

I love sunflowers. So I have planted many varieties all over the yard.
garden2.jpg
Even using them to shade my greens when the weather gets warmer.

And finally adding some cool rust “garden art”. This is the old coal grate from my fireplace that I found broken in the compost pile.
