I’d say I have been averaging about 5 hours of sleep at night for about 2 months now. Ideally I would be getting 7.5 hours of sleep but I either don’t get to sleep before midnight and I have been waking up at 5am and never really getting back to sleep. It feels like I have gotten used to this schedule. But I feel tired a lot. Last weekend I managed to get 9 hours in one night. I could feel my body sinking into it and I knew I needed to find a way to catch up. I have been making no plans on the weekends, napping when I can. And trying to get to bed by 10 even if I just sit thewre reading/journaling/or watching TV until I am sleepy.
I know I busted my yarn diet a couple of weeks ago with the mill end I have been eying for months. But this week I totally blew it out of the water. Blame it on the cooler weather we had a few weeks ago–the knitting love is back full force. I am starting the gerbera knit-a-long labor day weekend. I have been eyeing the alpaca yarn at Elann.com. Ordered the celery and dusty teal. I also got some cotton denim yarn to recreate my favorite sweater which is nearly shredded, but I wear it anyway. I am about 2/3 of the way through the second sleeve of the Age of Aquarius. I am sure I can get it done by this weekend.
